I LEASED A 2016 KIA SORENTO FROM AUTO WORLD KIA A MONTH AGO. ADAM, THE SALESMAN AND i AGREED ON A MONTHLY PRICE. I purchashed my kia sorento {2013} in May of 2014, ever since i had my car theres been problems with the dealer. If i took it in for an oil change they found something else wrong. i took it in for the breaks to be changed they told me my filters needed changing. i told them i just had the filter chaned along with an engine cleaning. I have spent over $1000 dollars in parts not including labor for a crankshaft bolt that broke off in my engine. This is the third time that I have to put my 2006 KIA Sorrento in the shop for the same problem. The bolt keeps breaking. I have replaced timing belt, crankshaft and camshaft sensors, pulley tensioner. The problem still exists. I was never aware of a recall about the crankshaft.

I bought a used 2011 Kia Sorento. Love the car!!! However, I had trouble with one fob not working from the start. The fob is needed for the push button start. Every time I had the car in to the Kia dealership for oil changes and other service and repair, I talked to the same girl about it, she tested batteries, replaced the batteries, and on one visit she even said that they reprogrammed both fobs. Without previous knowledge from Kia, my husband and I changed the oil in my Optima using an Oil Filter that was not made by Kia. As a result, the oil filter caused metal in the engine requiring a new engine to be placed. Now... here is the issue. I contacted Consumer Affairs to explain my problem (and spoke with other Kia owners) regarding not using a Kia Oil Filter. Kia and Kia of Greer SC have BAD customer service. I bought a Kia Optima 2014 and within 5000 miles I have had to replace my front tires. The service tech tells me its a factory defect later the service manger (Tony) tells me it's something I did to the tire. We just bought a 2014 kia optima certified preowned we have had it no joke less than 2 months!
